We celebrated our second anniversary and New Year's eve in style with a big party at the Brooks Beal Center. Rewind '74 played and we had much fun as we brought in 2014.

It is so much fun looking back over our wedding plans and our honeymoon. We have now celebrated our firsts anniversary together!

We spent our anniversary/New Year's Eve just the two of us going to dinner at Bonefish Grill and then watching a band and fireworks at HarborWalk Village. We ended the night with sparklers in our driveway!

Sat. 03/17/2012 First, Thank everyone again your generous gifts.. We arrived yesterday afternoon and both decided it would be best to chill out until we got used to the time change. Awoke early Sat. Morning. lounged around a bit then had a late breakfast. Our suite is fit for a Royal couple. It is larger than some apartments we have seen or lived in. The valet brought our car around and we headed to the giant swap meet held at the Aloha Bowl. If you have not heard of this, it is a must do. There are bargains to be found and had here. This is the best place to get many good souvenirs at low prices. A couple hours later we returned to he Royal Hawaiian for lunch and to rest a bit. Hawaii is beautiful. The weather is perfect. 76 degrees. Low humidity with a cool breeze blowing in from the Pacific. One thing we have found interesting, we have not seen (yet) any fast food establishments or billboard advertisements. We are sure they are in Hawaii, but not in the Waikiki area. We went out in the late afternoon to walk through some of the surrounding stores. The stores have entertainment performing in short sets of 30 to 45 min. to promote the shops. People surrounded the performers then head in the shops. We did see an Elvis impersonator. He was very entertaining. We have pictures to upload but that will probably happen Sunday. What a great day it was. Coming up.... Shopping, Beach, Surfing Snorkeling, Golf, the Luea Aue, Pearl Harbor and climbing Diamond Head. Pictures and post cards are coming.

It is Veterans' Day and what a beautifu day it was.  49 days until the wedding. We met with Kay and Stan today. They are our florists. The idea for the centerpieces are terrific.  I am so excited!  Mike and I went to Destin shopping for goodies to use to decorate.  Mike is so good at giving ideas!

A cool Halloween night. We dressed up and greeted trick-or-tretaers in the driveway. Visited with neighbors and warmed up by Shelly and Rick's fire pit. Fun night!

Whew! What a week-end.  We finally got all 450 invitations in the envelopes, labels attached and sealed.  Here they are ready to go out to all of our friends and family.

Mike did a lot of it. We make a good assembly line team.

That's good because tomorrow it will be 60 days to go! Yea.

We have gotten several gifts for our honeymoon. Everyone is so generous.

We had a wonderful engagement party today thanks to our friends Jenifer Bafundo and Tami Hare.  It was such fun visiting with everyone-some people we haven't seen in a long time.
